How To Sign-up For Journey Level Classes
Enrollment Qualifications:
You must be a UBC Member in good standing,
having a current dues card.
Class Cost:
All courses are offered free to UBC Members.
Books, materials, and supplies will be provided free.
How To Enroll In Any Of These Classes:
Contact Carpenters Local 25, or your home Local Union
and ask to be put on the pre-enrollment list, for the class
you are interested in. If no list exists for the class you want,
ask the Local Union to start a list for your particular class.
When a sufficient number of members from your Local Union
have pre-enrolled for a particular class, arrangements will be
coordinated between your Local Union and the
Carpenters Training Committee for Northern California
and the Health and Safety Fund to set a specific class date.
When these arrangements are finalized and a specific class date
has been set, your LU will contact you for a commitment to attend.
If you accept a reservation for a scheduled class
from your Local Union's enrollment list,
please be willing to follow through and attend!
Be aware that many Health and Safety courses require an
eight (8) hour refresher class to renew certification
and maintain active status.
